The Prairie Classic in Oklahoma City
Brought to you by Kansas Quarter Horse Association
The Prairie Classic was started in 2009 by Kansas Quarter Horse Association. When Kansas no longer had facilities large enough to accommodate a show of the size The Prairie Classic was becoming, the Show Committee sought out a location that could still easily service the needs of its members yet draw exhibitors from all over the US to ensure robust entires and exciting competition.
The Oklahoma State Fairgrounds was selected for its excellent facilities and convenient central location The choice proved to be a good one. The Prairie Classic quickly became a favorite destination for exhibitors and it has remained one of the Top 10 AQHA Circuits in the U.S. In 2022 it was the #1 Circuit with 6 shows or less. Exhibitors come from 29 states and across Canada.
